About the opportunity
We have an excellent opportunity for a student currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree, commencing their third year in 2024 specialising in Town Planning, who will commit to a two-year, part-time role.
Working within the Strategic Planning team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to build skills and experience and contribute to the provision of professional strategic and town planning documents. In this role, you will provide provide effective and efficient service in the investigation and preparation of long term strategic plans, studies, reports, environmental planning instruments and policies which are comprehensive, contemporary, relevant and reflective of Council’s and community goals. The ideal candidates will have a passion for strategic planning and a desire to make a real difference in the community.

Remuneration:
Salary as per the Local Government (State) Award plus 10.5% superannuation
